Kt Dimmick is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the relationship between painting and photography. Dimmick examines the complexities around themes of memory, hauntology, and the anthropocene. Her experimental approach to creating images through a blend of alternative process photography and painting creates a harmony between realism and abstraction that evokes the quality of dreams. Originally from Rochester, New York she received her Master in Fine Arts from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2020, and a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Seton Hill University in 2015. Her work has been exhibited in several group and solo shows throughout the US and Europe.
